More than 30 feet? Oh, no it isn't...

County Council Officers refused to allow double yellow lines on the junction at Kidderminster's Brecknell Rise because vehicles were parking more than 30 feet from the junction.

However, photographs taken today by local County Councillor Fran Oborski show vans parked right on the junction of Brecknell Rise and Stourbridge Road.

Cllr Mrs Oborski said "Brecknell Rise feeds directly onto an extremely busy main road. It is simply not safe to have large parked vehicles blocking visibility right on the junction".

Cllr Mrs Oborski is asking the Wyre Forest Highways Partnership Office to reconsider their earlier decision and allow double yellow lines on the junction.
